Still in Sunnyvale, but with a new piano and in a new apartment. My sons and I were taking piano lessons. When the piano teacher found out that I was playing on a small keyboard I had carted around while teaching at my sons’ elementary school, she insisted I buy her console for $1400. Well, I really didn’t have that money, but I bought it anyway. Just gotta have it!
It wasn’t the best of pianos, but I continued to play and write tunes. We were here for only a year before moving into a different school district which offered a better middle school for my younger son.
